A nice town of Benalm\u00e1dena is located between Fuengirola<\/a> and Torremolinos<\/a>, to the west of M\u00e1laga and the international airport. It is well known for its beautiful beaches, award-winning marina, vibrant nightlife, amusement parks and beautiful underwater park. Due to its privileged location and accessibility this municipality has grown enormously in popularity over the last 20 years and currently has 30,000 inhabitants on an area of 30km\u00b2.<\/p>\n

It is bustling with positive and relaxed vibes day and night thanks to the lively bars with open terraces and a nightlife with posh clubs. The marina is also home to the Sea Life Center where you can see all different species of marine animal life.<\/p>\n

On the both sides of the marina there are 8km of blue flag beaches with a beautiful promenade leading to Torremolinos on one side and the 5 star Casinohotel Torrequebrada on the other.<\/p>\n

Er is ook de mogelijkheid om via een kabelbaan naar de top van de berg te gaan en er te genieten van een imposant uitzicht over de kust, of de Jardin de Las Aguilas (tuin van de arenden) te bezoeken. Een prachtig roofvogelcentrum waar je de majestueuze roofvogels kan zien vliegen onder supervisie van meertalige deskundige vogeltrainers.<\/p>\n

In het centrum bevindt zich het prachtig La Paloma Park met een imponerende verscheidenheid aan flora en fauna en thematische tuinen met rotsachtige watervallen die in een groot kunstmatig meer vallen. Het park herbergt meer dan 90 soorten palmbomen en collecties van bamboe, cactussen en andere vetplanten. Tevens biedt het park een imposant uitzicht op de middellandse zeekust.<\/p>\n

In het park bevindt zich het Selwo Dolfinarium<\/a> waar een wereld van dolfijnen, zeeleeuwen en pingu\u00efns zich ontplooit.<\/p>\n

The heart of the village has retained its Spanish character with typical whitewashed stone buildings and labyrinths of narrow streets.<\/p>\n

One of the cultural attractions of Benalm\u00e1dena is the Stupa. It is a 33m high and the largest Buddhist temple in the Western part of the world. This wonder of architecture with the phenomenal panoramic views is definitely worth a visit.
